If you love sushi and Mexican food, you're in for a treat today! Tuna Tartare Tacos are an instant hit with nearly every crowd. I used to think that these tasty treats could be enjoyed only at fancy cocktail parties. But then I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Josh Capon, owner of my favorite NYC seafood spot, Lure Fish Bar, and he totally changed my mind. Chef Capon shared his delicious recipe for these yummy tacos that you can easily replicate in your kitchen.
Guacamole is my favorite dip by far! I used to hate it when I had any leftover because there was never a great way to save it without it turning brown, and lets be honest, no one likes brown guac! I found a solution…
In honor of Cinco de Mayo my neighbor hosted an amazing party and asked me to assist her with the planning by bringing some of my delicious homemade Mexican dishes. I don't know the history behind Cinco de Mayo, but I do know it's a great excuse to eat some tasty Mexican food and Salud with Margaritas! The party featured my signature Guacamole Recipe, a tasty taco bar with a selection of chipotle chicken, grilled shrimp, ground turkey, chorizo and all the toppings you could ever need. I also made my Jalepeno Deviled Eggs, garnished with spicy chorizo. The highlight of the table were my Miniature Taco Salads, topped with some guacamole, crema and a slice of radish.
A Mexican breakfast really hits the spot, there is something about salsa, cheese, and eggs that I cannot resist. As I mentioned in my Lazy Woman's Skillet recipe, it is also my husband's favorite. This recipe is a hearty and tasty way to combine my favorite ingredients into one meal.
